Who is BookPop?

Hi, I'm Charlie Hoehn. I've advised more than a dozen best-selling authors on their book marketing strategies. I got my start when I was 22 years old, studying under entrepreneurs like Ramit Sethi, Tucker Max, and Tim Ferriss. I worked alongside Tim during the production and launch of The 4-Hour Body, which hit #1 on the New York Times bestseller list, #1 overall on Amazon, and eventually sold over a million copies.

I've also self-published two popular books — Play It Away: A Workaholic's Cure for Anxiety (called ”The cure to your stress” by Tony Robbins) and Recession Proof Graduate (downloaded over 200,000 times). I've given keynotes and workshops at TEDx events, conferences, veteran seminars, and universities around the country. My work's been featured on NPR TED Radio Hour, Fast Company, Harvard Business Review, Financial Times, CBS News, FOX Business, and more.

We have a variety of options based on different author needs and budgets. To get our guidance in structuring your own book launch (including instructional resources that give detailed coverage for every step of the way), prices are $3000 - $5000. For a full, hands-on book launch where we do the work, $15,000 and up.

Will my book launch be a HUGE success?

Maybe... It depends on your goals. If you want to have a less stressful, less confusing launch, and a clear roadmap for how to market your book, then YES -- BookPop can make your launch a success. But if you want to hit all the bestseller lists, have the press talking about you non-stop, and sell thousands of copies of your book in just a few days, then PROBABLY NOT.

Here's the truth... Even though we've been involved with a bunch of mega-bestselling books, we've also worked on a number of duds. Some books just don't launch well, for a variety of reasons. Maybe the demand for the topic is low, or the book's written poorly, or our timing is a little off, or the press is swamped with more interesting stories to cover. Sometimes things just don't work out.

But don't worry! The main goal of a launch is just to get your book in the hands of its first hardcore fans, who will hopefully spread it to the next wave. Your launch is not the end of the road; it's the beginning! Even if the launch doesn't go as planned, you can still make your own luck. With daily marketing efforts, you can continue selling your book well after launch date -- and still reach your goals.
